Rotary International is the world’s first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members worldwide. Rotary members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio. The Rotary Club of Cashiers Valley received its charter in March 1993, and since that time, has raised and dispersed almost ,000,000 to a wide variety of community groups that work on behalf of public health and welfare, education, and recreation.
